The story of Torres Travel Company grew naturally from the Torres family’s long tradition of hospitality in El Fuerte, Sinaloa. After establishing Hotel Torres del Fuerte and welcoming guests to the family’s restaurant, Bonifacio’s Gourmet Restaurant the next step was helping travelers experience the extraordinary landscapes, communities and adventures beyond El Fuerte.

Approximately 19 years ago, Francisco Bonifacio Torres de Vega expanded the family’s hospitality services by establishing Torres Travel Company. The company was created to help visitors plan personalized journeys through Copper Canyon—Barrancas del Cobre—one of Mexico’s most spectacular natural and cultural destinations.

El Fuerte is ideally located at the western gateway to Copper Canyon and is one of the most important starting points for travelers boarding the Chepe Express.
